I was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario. I began studying art at a young age and was strongly influenced by two art teachers, Laura Brandon and L.J. Ireland.
In 1998 I moved to London to study History at Western University. I graduated from Western with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History, Master of Arts in Public History and Bachelor of Education (Intermediate/Senior History and Geography).
During my university studies I pursued my love of art by working in a variety of mediums, including oil, watercolour, acrylic and photography. My subjects tend to focus on nature, still life and pets. I also love cemeteries - both the peacefulness & historical context. In my spare time, I enjoy music, nature walks, supporting the arts, spending time with my family, friends and cuddles with my cats.
I continue to live in London, Ontario with my son and daughter, as well as our five cats, Rocky, Hollis, Burt, Parker Dige and dog Daisy Mae. I also volunteer my time with Hollys Hope Cat Rescue and All Breed Canine Rescue.
